How do y’all make friends?

I try to, but I either intimidate others and scare them off, or I’m just too scared to initiate conversation…

I see so many people making friends in fandoms I’m in but I just can’t do it. The last time I made a friend via a fandom was back when DRAMAtical Murder was super new and popular in the US.

I edit videos, I write fanfiction, and I roleplay. Nothing seems to stick. I don’t know I might be depressed or just lonely.
