Forgot to upload this quickie yesterday but I was feeling a bit down and Marik being the worst liar in the history of mankind and card games comforts me for some reason.
I am reminded of a video I made years ago that got taken down when my account on youtube was deleted for BS copyright claims. But it was to the song Malchik Gay by t.A.T.u and it was me being stupid and putting the words “Malik’s gay” up at the bottom whenever they sang the chorus and it just fit so well and was amazingly dumb.
But picture Marik playing that and singing my stupid version of the chorus whenever he is around his brother just to piss him off.
Malik having to actually admit that someone is better than him because Seto whoops him all the time delights me. Just imagine Malik staying up at night for weeks thinking about how he was beat then one day just realizing he kind of likes Seto after quietly and bitterly ranting to himself in bed.
As for Gozoburo and Amen- YES! My gods yes, I always loved the idea/thought of them just having dinner meetings and Amen trying to hook up Ishizu with Seto.

I think I am the only person to think of Marik as his hikari’s protector who takes things to an awful extreme and doesn’t grasp when a plan has changed but here me out… Imagine Malik, who is afraid of the dark, to be on the verge of tears and breaking down only for Mariku to slip on into the room and want to be comforting be he doesn’t do touchy-feely things like hugs but instead sits in his own corner and softly starts singing The Light by Disturbed to him. His own voice oddly soft but rusty as if he hasn’t used it much.
Yeah… little things like that that put him out of his own comfort zone in favor to make sure Malik will be okay amuses me…
