20 years later I finally realized that the reason Yugi wears that fucking leather bdsm collar is so the 8lb gold neckweight millenium puzzle rope/chain doesn’t shred the fuck out of his neck.
For fucks sake… we all just assumed Yami had some leather fetish
I wanted to say Yugi was wearing it before but I pulled out my manga and the leather collar DOES only show up after the Puzzle is solved- but also only when Yami takes over.
So… Clearly it is Yugi’s and he wore it on occasion for it to be there in the first place but Yami put it on to protect his vessle and soon to be best friend.
