Seein lots of tags and comments on this post to the tune of “that can’t possibly be right” or “wait I thought he was 18 during Battle City” or “I’m glad the anime aged him up then,” so friendly reminder that Seto Kaiba is an underage kid at every single point in the main DM storyline, in every single continuity (except the 4Kids dub, but even then it’s not clear if they actually meant to age him up or if they just added a throwaway line without thinking about the math)
He just really wants to be perceived as an adult, and if you bought it then he has successfully Bamboozled you
Friendly reminder that he was classmates with Yuugi in the manga and anime, so it’s kinda implied they’re around the same age.
Okay but if there is ever a time for a ‘they are all good friends’ kind of fanon AU story then please… please have them at a lunchroom table and realize that they are all basically a few months older than Seto and suddenly all start calling him the baby of the group. Because this is what friends do.
