Threw in my Joey deck I made ages ago to see how poorly it’d do againt Marik at lv50 and my Wheeler deck won…

I am avid that Joey rightly lost in canon and should have died-

I am on my 4th ever battle in the KC tournament thing and the duel just started and Yami Yugi forefitted and he went first.
I look down to hear Yami say
“You win Joey. I lost.” And my Joey going “That was a duel for the ages!”
Like- no??? Get you ass back here and fucking fight me!

I just imagine that Marik has hardly been back for five minutes so he is utterly shocked because Bakura just seemed to virtually appear out of thin air (Possible since Kaiba made this one) and already he is flirting with him.

Seeing screencaps of Duel Links and staring at how characters clothes are colored differently or even their eyes… weirds me out. What kind of AU shenanigans is this?

His eyes are pink? What? Course his hair is too?

Mai’s vest and belt are pink as well? Why is the top not white and the belt black?

Anzu’s eyes aren’t blue but Season Zero brown with a different season shool uniform.

Ishizu’s eyes are purple for some reason? We already know she’s an Ishtar so… why are they not blue?

Rishid is missing his chain that connect his Rare Hunter cloak front.

Bakura’s eyes are red and not brown and his stripes are WAY too thin. But with the DSOD his eyes have been changed to red before so maybe this is that version of him? But that stripes are super thin and ughh….

Still trivial things but definitely supporting my belief that all these things are parallel AUs

Duel Links: Yami Marik’s Return

I like to believe that a bit of Shadow Magic managed to taint
Kaiba’s Duel Links System. Causing to not only be able to accurately
portray the characters right, but little by little, the gate IS turning
into a portal to the Shadow Realm. And Yami Marik is crazy enough to
not only be aware that he’s a hologram in some game, but to also destroy
this gaming dimension and find a way to permanently appear in the real
YGO world and to destroy their world too.

Also, I guess Bakura can go talk to Ai Bakura to come up with a strategy to either try to defeat the Pharaoh again, or to stop this from becoming something very chaotic.

At first I did not know these were character losses art. I thought it was Yami about to lose and Yugi jumping in the way to save him. Then Seto about to lose and Mokuba jumping in to save his big brother. So you can imagine I was confused when Mako went to save Joey and how Weevil looked like he has full on regret in trying to save Rex.
It only clicked when Bakura and Marik got their own panels. XP
