It is true and it is kind of funny and weird at the same time.
Opened my mail box to find a tiny letter at the bottom so I opened it. Inside was a tiny card that was white with silver lettering that read “Thank You”. Confused, I looked at the envelope wondering why someone named Jay Snyder was sending me a thank you from New York. I then open it and read the short message inside and then proceeded to squee.
I know some of you see this and will say/think “It’s a hallow gesture of kindness” and to you I say the following… Forget you.
Dan Green sent me a letter of gratitude and that in itself means quite a lot to me since I honestly was not expecting anything from him. He needs his money for his little babies and for him to even use any of that to send me of all people a little note- It just made me feel so much better. (And since my day was rather dull and I was feeling kind of blue, I really needed the pick me up.) I’m still smiling and I just hope everything works out for him and his little ones.
