Snuggled up together on the sofa, Bruce cuddled Garcia close to himself. The pitter-patter of rain tapping against the window in a rhythmical sense that felt calming to Bruce if it were not for one thing. That thing being that the biochemist could not stand it and was shivering up against him.
Bruce gently covered the other’s ears with his hands and kept the blonde close to himself. The soft wrapping of rainfall still going with little sign of lifting any time soon.
“Everything is going to be fine,” the medic promised just over a whisper before leaning in closer to the other and turning his cupped hand just enough to allow himself to talk into it. “I won’t ever let anything bad happen to you.” His tone dropped to something much softer. A small smile to his lips as the blonde seemed to relax a little though a shiver still ran through him now and then.
A brilliant light flashed and the doctor closed his hands a little more to block out the thunder roll that followed before realizing he had little else to comfort his lover with other then just being there for him in person.
“You are my sun shine, my only sun shine,” Banner murmured in a quiet sing song tone. His voice getting a little lighter as he continued making sure to be heard just over the quiet rainfall. “You make me happy when skys are gray. You’ll never know dear how much I love you,” The doctor paused just long enough to give the younger male a kiss to the side of his head. “Please don’t take my sun shine away~”
